Six Paws Under

An arcade game, where your goal is to acces the buried treasures hidden under ground with our humble mole. Discover new ways to claw your way through terrain types with various hardness, and collect valuable stuff to get that High Score.

Gameplay

You start in the middle and you can dig in 3 main directions: down-left, down-right or straight down. Try to get as deep as you can and collect ores (, , ) for big score bonuses!

Tools

Use crates () to get new tools! Your tools have durability, which you can see on the top right corner of the screen. If your tool breaks, it's Game Over, so managing your tools is essential!. Each tool you get also boasts higher durability than the last, so aiming for crates in the early game is a good starting strategy. Your tools also have different digging abilities, so you need to master each one to succeed!

Right now, only the following 2 tools are implemented:

•   Shovel - The base tool you start with. Allows one step in all directions. Great for precision mining!
• Impact driver - Steps one down and three to the side if moving left or right (an L-shape), or two steps straight down. Useful for clearing multiple blocks, as long as you can master its movement pattern!

Blocks

Each type of block has a different "hardness":

•   Sand - 1
• Rock - 2
• Obsidian - 3

Harder blocks need to be hit multiple times, depleting more of your tool's precious durability. However, some tools can dig through multiple blocks at ease, provided you spend the durability of the initial block to get them started.

Managing your steps is the key to success, as there's no way up...

The only way is down!

Controls

• Down Arrow Key - Dig straight down
• Left Arrow Key - Use tool in the left direction
• Right Arrow Key - Use tool in the right direction
• Enter - Start or Restart Game
